Brian Stock was club captain and an influential figure in the centre of midfield for Doncaster Rovers in 2010-11. Previously with Bournemouth and Preston North End, Brian initially joined Rovers on loan before signing permanently in January 2007. A stylish player who has good distribution skills, he is also something of a dead-ball specialist. After a successful 2009-10, when he was named Player of the Year, Brian was hampered by injury during 2010-11. Nevertheless Brian made 37 appearances for Rovers and chipped in with a couple of important goals. He won his third full cap for Wales in August 2010, but missed out on others due to injury.
