Brad Friedel Biography

A veteran goalkeeper who joined Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2011 and immediately established himself as first choice.

Brad, who was by some distance the oldest player in the Tottenham squad, was an ever-present for Spurs during the campaign keeping up his amazing record of not having missed a game in the Barclays Premier League since the start of the 2004-05 season.

He produced some consistent performances before celebrating his 41st birthday a few days after the end of the season. Brad first came to Europe in the mid 1990s to play for Galatasary and was later at Liverpool and Blackburn Rovers before spending three seasons with Aston Villa.

He won 82 caps for the United States before retiring from international football in 2005.
