Blair Sturrock is an experienced striker who signed for Southend United in the summer of 2010. Blair, who is the son of Shrimpers’ manager Paul Sturrock, scored a stoppage time equalised on his debut for Southend against Stockport County and was a near ever-present in the matchday squad throughout 2010-11, often partnering Barry Corr up front.

Blair, who began his career as a youngster with Dundee United, has made over 200 senior appearances (including more than 100 from the bench), notably in spells at Plymouth and Swindon. Prior to his arrival at Roots Hall he spent the 2009-10 campaign in the Conference with Mansfield Town.
