Bilel Mohsni Biography

Bilel Mohsni is a tall, rugged centre back who joined Southend United in the summer of 2010 following a successful trial period at Roots Hall. He produced a man-of-the-match performance on his debut for the Shrimpers in the Carling Cup defeat by Wolves and his wholehearted attitude quickly won over the club’s supporters. Although he missed several weeks with an injured ankle, Bilel was a regular when fit and also featured with success as a stand-in striker. He spent the 2009-10 campaign in the semi-professional French CFA 2 League with Sainte-Geneviève Sports and had previously played amateur football in France whilst working in a leisure centre.
