Ben Herd Biography

Ben Herd is an experienced right back who was in his second season at League Two club Aldershot Town in 2010-11. Ben is a solid defender who pushes forward to provide an extra attacking option and has established himself in the Shots' starting line-up, with his form earning him both the Supporters' Player of the Year and the Players' Player of the Year awards in 2009-10. He was in good form for the Shots in 2010-11 when he was a near ever-present in the line-up and also won the Player’s Player of the Year award once again. Ben previously made over 150 appearances for Shrewsbury Town but lost his place and was released in the summer of 2009.
