Ben Wright is a striker who signed for Macclesfield Town in the summer of 2009. Ben is a big, strong attacking player who has the ability to hold the ball up and bring others into play. He began his senior career at Bristol City before spending six seasons playing in Norway. Ben returned to England when he signed for Lincoln City and spent two seasons at Sincil Bank before joining the Silkmen. He was a regular in the first-team squad during his time at Moss Rose but was released in the summer of 2010. In January 2011 he moved to New Zealand and signed for the Richmond Athletic club.
