Barry Corr is a tall attacking centre forward who joined Southend United in the summer of 2010 after a season at Exeter City. Barry had previously played for Shrimpers? boss Paul Sturrock at Sheffield Wednesday and Swindon Town so when Sturrock was appointed as the new Southend manager there was no surprise that Barry was one of his first signings. A robust striker with a good eye for goal he enjoyed an excellent campaign at Roots Hall, scoring in only his second appearance, a Carling Cup tie against Bristol City and finishing up as Southend?s leading scorer with 21 goals in all competitions.
