Bacary Sagna is a right back who signed for Arsenal in July 2007. A strong and committed defender, Bacary is comfortable going forward and can shoot powerfully from long range. A first choice since joining the Gunners he has now made over 150 appearances for the club. He was again in consistent form throughout 2010-11, scoring a fine goal in the FA Cup replay against Leeds. He was one of three Arsenal players selected for the PFA Premier League team of the year. Bacary previously played in France for Auxerre, where he was a member of the team that lost out to Lyon in the final of the 2005 domestic cup competition. He won his first cap for France in August 2007 and has now made more than 30 appearances for his country. © 2011 - PFA Player Profiles
