Ashley Westwood

Ashley R Westwood is a product of the Crewe Alexandra Academy who signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2008.

Ashley is mainly a left-sided midfielder but has also been used effectively at left back. He made his first-team debut against Millwall in March 2009 and went on to establish himself as a regular in the Alex line-up.

His performances earned him the club's Player of the Year award in 2009-10 and he continued to feature in the team in 2010-11, captaining the side on occasions.
