Antolin Alcaraz Biography

Antolin Alcaraz is an experienced defender who joined Wigan Athletic from Club Brugge in the summer of 2010.

Antolin quickly became a key player for the Latics and missed just a handful of games in his first season. He is a solid defender with good distribution skills and his form during 2010-11 earned him the Players’ Player of the Year award.

Antolin is an international for Paraguay and currently has 20 caps. He appeared in four out of his country’s five games at the 2010 World Cup finals as they reached the last eight.
