Anthony Charles Biography

Anthony Charles is a hard working central defender who is in his second spell with Aldershot Town. Anthony was a key player when the club won the Isthmian League Premier Division title in 2002-03 before moving on to Farnborough Town. He went on to make his Football League debut while at Barnet before returning to Aldershot in February 2007. His dogged style has made him a favourite with Shots' fans and in 2008-09 he was voted both Supporters' Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season. His performances have earned him the captain's armband and he was a near ever-present in the 2010-11 season.
