Anthony Straker is a left-sided player who was in his fourth season at Aldershot Town in 2010-11. Anthony was formerly a youth team player at Crystal Palace, but was unable to break into the first-team squad at Selhurst Park and moved to join the Shots in 2007. He began his career as a left back but was pushed forward into midfield in 2009-10. He continued in this role during the first half of 2010-11, but after spending a brief spell on loan to Wycombe he returned to the Recreation Ground and reverted to playing at left back once more. Anthony was a regular in the Shots' team in their first two seasons in League Two and continues to build on his experience. He has pace and is a good crosser of the ball when going forward. Anthony gained international honours for Grenada during the summer of 2011.
