Angelo Balanta is a lively winger who graduated to the professional ranks with Queen?s Park Rangers in January 2008. Angelo is a skilful forward who can play as an out-and-out striker or in a wide role on either flank. He was spotted playing for Fulham based youth team Brunswick Boys and has made rapid progress since joining the Rs. He made his first-team debut as a 17-year-old and gained further senior experience including a successful loan spell with Wycombe Wanderers. Angelo spent the whole of the 2010-11 season out on loan to MK Dons. The loan was a success and Angelo made a significant contribution to the Dons? push into the play-offs with six goals from 12 starts, despite missing four months of the campaign with an ankle injury.
