Andy Parkinson Biography
Andy Parkinson is an experienced winger who
signed for Accrington Stanley in July 2010.
Andy started his career as a
trainee at Liverpool and played for the Reds in the 1996 FA Youth Cup final.
He
established himself as a first-team player after moving to Tranmere Rovers and
had a lengthy spell at Prenton Park, appearing for the club in the 2000
Football League Cup final.
Andy is a player with pace and ability and after
leaving Tranmere had spells with Sheffield United, Notts County and Grimsby
before spending two seasons in the Conference.
Andy made further appearances
for Stanley during 2010-11 and contributed a couple of goals but was unable to
win a regular place in the team and was released at the end of the campaign.
