Andy O’Brien is an experienced centre back who joined Leeds United on loan in October 2010, signing permanently during the January transfer window.

Andy rarely missed a game after arriving at Elland Road, providing experience and a calm, composed presence in the centre of defence.

He was on the Whites’ books as a schoolboy but moved on to Bradford City and he has now made over 350 League appearances having also played for Newcastle, Portsmouth and Bolton, where he began the 2010-11 campaign. Andy is a former Republic of Ireland international, winning 26 full caps between 2002 and 2006.
