    Andy Keogh Biography

Andy Keogh is a striker who signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers in January 2007. A hard-working player with a nice touch, Andy was a regular in the team that won promotion to the Premier League in 2008-09, either as a member of the starting line-up or as a substitute.

He got off to a good start the following season and kept his place in the line-up until October before dropping back to the bench. He later suffered an ankle injury that kept him out of action for several months and once fit he found it difficult to win his place back.

His only appearance for Wolves in 2010-11 came as a substitute in the opening game against Stoke and he spent much of the remainder of the campaign out on loan with Cardiff and then Bristol City. Andy began his career as a youngster with Leeds but made his name in a two-year spell with Scunthorpe, prompting Wolves to step in and sign him.

Andy has made over 20 appearances for the Republic of Ireland since winning his first cap in May 2007. He rejoined one of his former clubs, Leeds United, on loan at the start of the 2011-12 season.
