Player Details

Andy Surman is a talented midfielder who signed for Norwich City in the summer of 2010 after a season with Wolverhampton Wanderers. Andy is a versatile player who is mainly used either on the left or in the centre of midfield but has also filled in at left back during his career. His appearances in the first half of 2010-11 were restricted by injury but once over those issues he appeared regularly as the Canaries won promotion back to the Premier League. Andy was born in South Africa where his parents were working at the time but the family moved to England when he was a child. He joined the Southampton Academy and went on to sign professional forms for the Saints, making over 100 appearances for the club before joining Wolves. He won four England U21 caps earlier in his career. 2011 - PFA Player Profiles
