Andrea Orlandi Biography

Andrea Orlandi is a versatile midfield player for Swansea City.

Signed by the Swans as a skilful winger, he has adapted to playing in a more central role this term with considerable success. His early time at the Liberty Stadium was affected by injuries but he featured regularly in the squad under manager Paulo Sousa.

He was a regular in the line-up in the first half of 2010-11, but rarely featured after January due to further injury problems.

Andrea played his early football in Spain with Alaves and Barcelona before joining Swansea shortly after the start of the 2007-08 campaign.
