Alfie Potter is a young winger who signed for League Two newcomers Oxford United in the summer of 2010 after spending the previous season on loan to the club. Alfie was a regular member of the U's first-team squad in 2009-10 and scored a crucial goal in the Conference play-off final, which enabled the club to secure promotion back to the Football League. He also featured regularly in the U's first team during 2010-11, although was often used as an impact player coming off the bench. Alfie is a tricky player with pace who was previously at Peterborough United. He made a couple of appearances as a substitute for Posh in 2007-08 but spent the following season loaned out to Kettering Town.
