Alexander Marangao Doni

An experienced goalkeeper who signed for Liverpool in the summer of 2011.

Doni was brought in to provide back-up for Pepe Reina and was on the bench as an unused substitute for much of the season.

He finally got his chance in April when he appeared against Aston Villa when Reina was unavailable. Doni went on to make three further appearances for the Reds in the last month of the campaign.

He previously played for a number of clubs in his native Brazil before a lengthy spell with AS Roma. Doni has represented the Brazil national team on 10 occasions.
