Alex Woodyard Biography
Alex Woodyard is a defensive midfield player who spent the 2010-11 season as a second-year scholar on the books of Southend United. Alex made solid progress during the campaign and stepped up to the first-team squad, making his senior debut in the 3-1 defeat at Burton in December and adding two further appearances in the starting line-up. Alex also featured for the club’s successful U18 team during the campaign and was a member of the team that reached the Southern Area final of the Youth Alliance Cup.
