Alex Rae Biography
Alex Rae joined MK Dons in July 2009 as first-team coach while working towards his UEFA Pro-Licence.
The veteran midfielder made almost 600 senior appearances in a lengthy playing career finishing at Dundee where he was appointed player-manager.
His last appearance as a player was back in October 2007 but an injury crisis saw him pressed into action for the Dons at the age of 40.
Alex came on as a substitute in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at Southampton in February and with the Dons' injury problems increasing he went on to make a couple of League One starts before the end of the campaign. In October 2010 Alex was appointed as assistant to manager Paul Ince at Notts County.
