Akwasi Asante Biography

Akwasi Asante is a young striker who signed his first professional contract for Birmingham City in February 2011. He is a quick player with good technical skills and an eye for goal. Akwasi netted five goals for the U18s against Tottenham in October 2010 and soon afterwards he was given a first-team squad number. He featured on the bench for the Carling Cup tie against Brentford and on a couple of occasions towards the end of the 2010-11 season, but has yet to appear in the first team.
