Ajay Leitch-Smith is a young striker who spent two years as a scholar with Crewe Alexandra before signing a professional contract with the Gresty Road club in 2008. Ajay continued his football development with a spell on loan at the Icelandic club IBV before he was given his Football League debut against Bury in September 2009. Ajay later spent time on loan at Northern Premier League club Curzon Ashton scoring seven goals and went on to feature in the Alex first-team squad during 2010-11.
