No regrets: Manchester City boss Mark Hughes believes his club should be applauded for their audacious attempt to lure AC Milan superstar Kaka 'I think that people have lost sight of what we were trying to do, which was to bring one of the best players in the world to Manchester City. We should be given a little bit of credit for that. 'We were not able to conclude the deal but we got very, very close. It would have been ideal to work with a player of that quality but it is not going to happen and we move on. 'The Kaka situation was one we had to move for.
