Dallara eager for F1 return

Dallara are eagerly awaiting their return to Formula One with the new Campos Meta team, the Italian chassis builder saying the project will be a "fascinating challenge".[LNB] The Spanish team are one of three new outfits to have been granted entry to to the 2010 world championship and have commissioned Dallara to design and build their car, meaning a return to the F1 grid for the first time in 18 seasons.[LNB]"I've accepted this opportunity with enthusiasm," Gian Paolo Dallara told the Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.[LNB]"It's scary, but it's exciting for me and for my entire company, because this is a fascinating challenge that tests energy and creativity.[LNB]"We've been working for three months already. We want to have the car running around 10 January - let's hope it's quick, both for the sake of Campos and for us!"[LNB]Dallara also expressed the belief that his company has the personnel needed to build Campos a car that is capable of competing at the highest level.[LNB]"We have strong people with fresh experiences such Gabriele Tredozi, who for years was the technical head at Minardi, and like Ben Agathangelou, aerodynamicist for Red Bull and Ross Brawn's Honda. And then there are our people, all of them good," he said.[LNB]Dallara previously built cars for the Scuderia Italia team, who competed in F1 between 1988 and 1992.[LNB]
