Andy Murray has confirmed his status as the best returner of serve in the world during his march to the Wimbledon semi-finals. [LNB]The Scot has been brilliant against serve throughout the tournament and it is a weapon the big-serving Andy Roddick will be wary of on Centre Court today. [LNB] Return to sender: Andy Murray produces another stunning return[LNB]As the Hawk-Eye graphics from Wimbledon and the return-of-serve statistics from the rest of the year show, Murray has become a terrifying opponent. The British No 1 tops three of the four charts and, when you analyse how he has been returning at Wimbledon, it is easy to see why. [LNB]Murray has not been trying to hit winners off his opponent's first serve, opting to float the ball back to the middle of court (graphic below left) with plenty of spin to get into the rally, from where he is confident of winning the majority of the exchanges. [LNB]On the second serve he is more aggressive, standing inside the baseline to attack the ball. Against Juan Carlos Ferrero in the quarter-final, he hit returns from nearly two yards inside the baseline (graphic below right), taking advantage of the drop in pace. [LNB]By using both these tactics, Murray has become the player big servers hate to face - and Roddick will be no different.[LNB] [LNB]  WIMBLEDON 2009: Andy's bomb disposal unit - Murray can defuse Roddick's explosive game, says HenmanWIMBLEDON 2009: Don't expect a big racket for Murray in down-to-earth DunblaneWIMBLEDON 2009: Murray v Roddick - all you need know about the battle of the tennis beefcakesWIMBLEDON 2009: So, can Murray emulate Fred Perry and win it?WIMBLEDON 2009: As Andy plots singles glory, Jamie eyes a double WIMBLEDON 2009: Haas looks to Paris for inspiration as he faces the might of Federer [LNB]  Explore more:People:Juan Carlos Ferrero, Andy Murray, Andy RoddickOrganisations:Centre Court
