Groundsman not Kidd-ing over pitch

The surface from this season has already been ripped up and Kiddy is glad to be able to get started on laying the new turf. He told the club's official website: "A key ingredient is an increased budget and that will help us maintain the quality of the playing surface throughout the winter months. "Last year, the cold snap and snow meant we had to have the undersoil heating turned on for long periods, which took its toll on the pitch. "But this year we've added a lot more Fibresand to make the pitch a lot stronger and the roots should hold in a lot better. "I am confident the increased budget and hard work will bear fruit over the coming weeks."
