Player Details
Yaser Kasim is a young midfield player who signed for Brighton & Hove Albion in October 2010 and quickly established himself in the Seagulls? reserve team. He was on the bench for the first team a couple of times before Christmas and went on to make his Football League debut on the final day of 2010-11 when he started in centre midfield at Notts County. Yaser began his career at Tottenham, appearing for both the U18s and reserves while still qualified for the U1s6. He had two seasons in the academy where he appeared in a holding midfield role and developed a reputation as a good passer of the ball. Yaser had trials at Sheffield United and Crystal Palace in 2009-10 and was briefly back at Palace at the start of 2010-11 before linking up with Brighton.
