Thomas Sorenson is an experienced goalkeeper who joined Stoke City in July 2008. Thomas is a consistent ?keeper with great shot-stopping abilities. He was a regular for his first two seasons at the Britannia Stadium but lost his place in the line-up to Asmir Begovic at the end of October 2010. Thereafter he was a regular on the bench, but retained the jersey for FA Cup matches and went on to gain a runners-up medal as a member of the team defeated by Manchester City in the Wembley final. Thomas began his career in Denmark with Odense BK, before moving to the Premier League with Sunderland in August 1998. He spent five years at the Stadium of Light, then signed for Aston Villa, where he continued as a regular until the 2007-08 season.
