Player Details

Marc Albrighton is a midfielder who came up through the ranks with Aston Villa. After playing in the Villa side that reached the FA Youth Cup semi-final in 2008, Marc made his senior debut for the club in the UEFA Cup away to CSKA Moscow in February 2009. Two months later he made the first of two appearances for the England U20 side and played a leading role in Villa's success in winning the pre-season Peace Cup tournament in Spain. A right-sided wide midfielder, Marc is particularly noted for his crossing ability. He became a regular in the Villa line-up during the 2010-11 season, winning a number of awards including Villa's Young Player and Goal of the Season.
