Colin Doyle is a goalkeeper who progressed through the ranks with Birmingham City, signing a professional contract in the summer of 2004. A tall, solid ?keeper who is a good shot stopper, he has been second choice to the likes of Maik Taylor, Joe Hart and Ben Foster in recent seasons. He spent a brief period on loan at Coventry City at the beginning of 2010-11, appearing in the Carling Cup defeat to Morecambe, and then added a couple of FA Cup appearances for Blues as well as replacing the injured Foster shortly before half time in the Premier League defeat at Liverpool in April. Colin has one full cap for the Republic of Ireland, playing in the friendly with Ecuador in New Jersey in May 2007.
