Preston North End have snapped up Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has scored five times in 24 appearances for the Red Devils to date and will gain valuable experience during his spell at Deepdale.
Lilywhites boss Darren Ferguson told the club's official website: "He has got fantastic potential.
"He'll come here and get games and I am sure he will show the right attitude because of where he has come from.
"He's an exciting one for us because he's got real penetration and real pace. He can play through the middle and he can play out wide and I think it is an area I think we are short of, in terms of pace.
"He will be a threat. Defences will be aware of him, because they will have seen him on the TV. He is a threat in behind and it was that type that I was looking for."
