Warm Up Complete

Preston completed their pre-season with a one nil victory over League Two side Plymouth as North End made the long journey to the south west.

It is unusual for Preston to travel so far for a pre-season match but due to Peter Ridsdale's links with Plymouth, North End made the trip for their final pre-season game.

Sodje scored after four minutes to give North End the lead and another trialist, Stuart Tomlinson, saved a second half penalty which enabled Preston to see out the win.
