Unsworth made Preston caretaker

Preston have appointed first-team coach David Unsworth as caretaker boss following Darren Ferguson's sacking.The former Everton defender, 37, will take charge for Saturday's Championship clash with Derby. Ferguson was dismissed on Wednesday with North End bottom of the Championship, having won one of their last nine games.
