Turner The Twit
Phil Brown lay the blame of Preston's fourth straight defeat at the door of Iain Turner who has become a liability at time this season.
Preston were always going to find it tough against a Huddersfield side that are still unbeaten. Brown stated after the game that the first goal was crucial and this meant that Preston were always under pressure.
Turner who is now compiling a history of errors raced out of his goals in the openig five only to mis his kick at the ball which gave Rhodes a tap in for the first of his hat trick.
Brown had changed the defensive with Devine lining up alongside Carlisle, Maclean on the right and Parry back on the left which was the back four that started Preston's seven game winning streak.
The home side doubled their lead before the break when Rhodes jumpes highest to a cross before he added a third early in the second period. Preston managed to pull one back as Tsoumou tapped in a Hume cross.
Preston now have two home games but with Hume going off injured and Mellor still out with injury the Whites may struggle as their defensive woes mean that clean sheets are unlikely.
