Preston have been looking at former Bulgarian under 21 striker, Vladislav Mirchev this week as Ferguson assess his frontline options. Mirchev scored in the reserves 2-1 victory over Oldham and has impressed during his one week stay at Preston. The Whites are short of immediate options up front with Brown out for up to six weeks and King's future uncertain with his loan ending in mid-November before he will return to fitness. Ferguson may make a short term move for the free agent in order to give Jon Parkin and Iain Hume some much needed competition up front.
