Treacy in optimistic mood

Published: 04 Feb 2010 - 13:06:49

Preston winger Keith Treacy sees no reason why his side cannot emerge as serious play-off contenders in the coming weeks.North End were hammered 4-1 at home by Barnsley on Tuesday night after being outplayed and outfought by Mark Robins' side.Treacy made his debut as a substitute following his move from Blackburn and has urged the Lilywhites to bounce back strongly at Swansea this weekend."We are still only six points off of the play-offs but a few wins then we are right back in it," he said."You just need to go on a little run. You lose a few of games and you're fighting for your life but on the flip side you win a couple of games then you are up on cloud nine."We need to go again on Saturday and really go for the three points."
