We conclude with the profile of the trialists with French player Sebastien Grax. Sébastien Grax was born in Le Creusot, Saone-et-Loire on 23 June 1984. His career started in the Youth team at Monaco and made his debut in the 2001/02 season 13 of his 17 appearances came in the 2006/07 season. On 27 July 2004 he was loaned out to Troyes where he scored 16 goals in 37 games. His most famous goal came against Lille OSC in 2005 when Troyes was newly promoted and Lille was in the Champions League. In total he scored 25 goals in 66 appearances. The 2005/06 season saw him score 9 goals from 29 appearances. In 2006 he went on loan to Sochaux and scored 5 goals in 13 appearances, before signing permanently for the club from Monaco for a fee of £1 Million on 31 January 2007, netting one in a further 12 appearance. On 2 July 2008 he joined St.Etienne for an undisclosed fee and made 12 appearances before going on loan to Guingamp on 18 August 2009 with 3 goals from 24 appearances. This will be Sébastien Grax’s second trial with a Championship side, having been at Crystal Palace in August. His last match was as a substitute for St.Etienne reserves in a 2-0 victory over Colomiers on 5 September 2010. The attendance was only 300 but was refereed by Premier League Referee Michael Oliver.
