Russell Exit Confirmed

As reported earlier int he week on this site, midfielder Russell is set to leave the club after agreeing to cancel his contract with North End.

It is no surprise that Preston have agreed to strike a deal with Russell allowing him to leave the club and reports earlier this week indicated that a deal would be done by the end of the week.

Peter Risdale confirmed that the player and club reached a verbal agreement last night which was formally to be put in writing today to allow Russell to move to pastures new.
