Quartet missing for North End

North End skipper Callum Davidson has been called up by Scotland boss George Burley for Wednesday's World Cup qualifier in Norway. Fellow defenders Sean St Ledger and Eddie Nolan have joined up with the Republic of Ireland squad ahead of their game against Australia on Wednesday. Midfielder Veliche Shumulikoski will also be missing following his call into the Macedonia squad for their game against Spain. Meanwhile, defender Neal Trotman, who missed most of last season with knee and hernia injuries, has turned down a loan move to Millwall. Trotman has opted to stay at Deepdale and fight for a first-team place and is expected to return to the squad for the clash with Morecambe.
