Preston North End are set to be without midfielder Paul Parry for around a month due to a knee injury.
The 29-year-old former Wales international had to be replaced during the 1-0 loss at Sheffield United at the end of December and is set to see a specialist for a full diagnosis.
Boss Darren Ferguson told the club's official website: "Paul Parry may be out for a month or so and he will be a miss.
"It leaves us a bit light because we haven't got the biggest of squads and we have got lots of games coming up.
"He will be seeing the specialist, though, so we'll get an idea of what timescale he will be missing for."
