Preston set to appoint Westley as new boss

National sources are now reporting that late on Thursday evening Graham Westley and his backroom staff agreed terms and conditions to join Preston.

The only stumbling block is compensation that Preston now owe to Stevenage which is hoped will be sorted out before the weekend.

Talks between the two clubs have been protracted but an agreement was reached late on Thursday by Westley and his staff.

Westley replaces Phil Brown as the new manager at Deepdale, Brown was sacked in December following a bade run of form.
