Preston Confirm Garner Deal

After much speculation Preston have confirmed the signing of striker Joe Garner on a free transfer after his contract with Watford was cancelled.

Rumoours had surfaced int he week that Preston were looking to bring in a striker especially with their recent scoring record as well as Sodje and Elding being allowed to leave the club freeing up space in the squad.

Garner was at Watford but spent three months of this season on loan at Carlisle where he scored against Preston. He has had his contract with Watford cancelled allowing him to move ona  free transfer to Preston. He has signed an 18 month deal.
