Ormerod blow for Preston

Preston North End's play-off hopes have suffered a major blow with the news that Brett Ormerod could miss the rest of the season with a fractured cheekbone.
The Lilywhites striker was replaced after 15 minutes of Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Wolves at Deepdale which left Paul Simpson's side seven points off the pace at the top of the Championship table.
Simpson said of Ormerod's early injury: "I don't think that's why we lost the game.
"I thought we deserved to lose and we were out-run and out-fought by a good Wolves side that have got a result from six out of eight away games.
"I was bitterly disappointed and especially disappointed to go a goal behind early on.
"We hit the bar and hit the post but we have got to take our chances and gamble and we have not really tested their goalkeeper today.
"Brett Ormerod has suffered a fractured cheekbone and is in hospital needing surgery and could be out for two or three months."
