Preston North End striker David Nugent wants to remain at Deepdale and help fire the Lilywhites into the Premiership.
The England Under-21 hitman has been linked with a host of Premiership clubs, but is keen to remain with Preston and reach the top-flight with the high-flying Championship side.
"I'm happy at Preston at the moment, we're flying high and hopefully this season we can go up," he said.
"My desire is to play in the Premiership. Hopefully it will be with Preston next year.
"I want to be there and I'm confident with the squad we've got at Preston we can go all the way."
