McLaughlin secures new Lilywhites deal

Rookie Preston defender Conor McLaughlin has signed a one-year extension to his current contract with the option of a further year.McLaughlin, who has been on the bench on several occasions, is now contracted to the npower Championship strugglers until June 2013.The Northern Ireland U21 international made his first-team debut against Hull in November, coming on for captain Callum Davidson at half-time.
