James set for Preston loan spell

The England under-20 midfielder, 18, will sign a deal when the emergency loan window opens on Tuesday. The Rochdale-born will go straight into Preston's squad for Tuesday's visit of Sheffield United in the Championship. James will become the second United player to join North End on loan following the recent recruitment of Danny Welbeck to the Deepdale ranks.
