Hearts hold Elliott talks

Hearts are in talks with Republic of Ireland striker Stephen Elliott.The 26-year-old attended the club's pre-season friendly against Blackburn and will continue discussing a possible move from Preston.A club statement read: "We've been talking to Stephen over the last day or so and will continue to do so over the coming days."He's our guest at today's game as he takes a look around the stadium and our facilities."This has also given him the opportunity to sit down with Jim Jefferies to discuss things."
