Hayes completes move to Preston

Preston manager Darren Ferguson has completed his first deal of the summer by signing Scunthorpe United striker Paul Hayes on a three year contract.The 26-year-old, whose 13 goals were crucial in helping Scunthorpe maintain their Championship status, was recently named the club's player of the year. Ferguson told BBC Radio Lancashire: "We're delighted to get Paul on board. "We've done it pretty quick which is the best way to do business and he'll be a great free transfer."
